English Football League Youth Alliance Weekend Preview

By Derek Priestley

A look ahead to this weekend's English Football League Youth Alliance fixtures:

With the league entering the last few matches of the season, some with three, four and five left to play its still tight at the top and seven points separates the top seven.

Burton host Rotherham, the Brewers are unbeaten from the last five, winning four and sit seventh. a point behind the Imps and six in front of Oldham who are a place below, the Millers have lost one in five and are tenth.

The Imps who have suffered back to back defeats which has seen them drop to sixth in the standings and six points behind the leaders Doncaster travel to Chesterfield, the Spireites are on a poor run of form too only managing to pick up a solitary points from the last fifteen available, can the Imps get back on track and close the gap to those above them.

League leaders Doncaster welcome fourth placed Hartlepool, Rovers have hit good form in the run in winning the last three against teams in and around them, Pools have won two of the last three can they upset the leaders?

its derby day in Nottinghamshire with Notts County hosting Mansfield, the Magpies have picked up just one point in the last five matches and seen them drop to third bottom, meanwhile the Stags have accumulated ten from a possible twelve to remain in the top three with the hope of retaining the title.

Bradford go over the Pennines to Oldham, the visitors are fifth and have a game in hand over the leaders and are just five points behind, the Latics have only lost one in the last five.
