By Derek Priestley

Results from this weekend's English Football League Youth Alliance

Its hotting up at the top of the table, just two points separates the top five, Doncaster, Mansfield and Grimsby have three matches remaining, fourth placed Hartlepool have just two but Bradford have four.

Burton's five match unbeaten run came to an end at the hands of Rotherham, the Millers recording back to back victories to remain tenth on the table, despite the loss the Brewers stay seventh.

The Imps lose their third match in a row and remain sixth, Chesterfield picked up the three points to give them their first win in five, a disappointing result for the Imps which could of seen them close the gap to those above them.

Despite Doncaster losing at home to Hartlepool by the solitary goal of the game, they remain top but there is a queue of teams sat on their heels including the Pools who sit fourth just a point behind Rovers but having played a game more.

The Nottinghamshire derby between Notts County and Mansfield saw them take a point a piece in a one-all draw, the Magpies drop to second bottom meanwhile the Stags are second by a point and are unbeaten in the last five.

Bradford returned from their trip over the Pennines to Oldham with the three points with a narrow one-nil win, the Bantams are fifth two points behind the leaders but have a game in hand, the Latics are ninth.
