An eleven goal thriller in the Chesterfield versus Scunthorpe fixture and it was the Spireites who came out on top by a single goal to put back to back wins together and go eighth, the Iron remian third from bottom.

Grimsby kept up the pressure on leaders Doncaster after putting five past Huddersfield with just the one in reply, this sees the Mariners return to winning ways after a three match winless run, the Terriers remain rooted to the bottom and will finish the season there.

The Imps continued their poor run of form losing to Rotherham to go pointless from the last four matches, the Millers have now won three on the bounce as they look to finish the season strongly.

Bradford took the points from Mansfield in the pick of the fixtures and go above their opponents to third in the running order, the Bantams title ambitions are still alive, two points off top spot with a game in hand which they play this coming Friday against Notts County and have took maximum points from the last three fixtures.

Doncaster remain top by a point following a two-nil win at Oldham but could see them knocked off top spot on Friday if the Bantams can take three points in the home fixture against Notts County.
